§ 1 Registration
Registration for seminars, advanced training courses, workshops, specialist days or information events on training and further education courses (hereinafter: event(s)) offered by Systemdynamik is no longer possible from March 1st, 2023.

§ 2 Participation
All people are able to participate in System Dynamics events. Participation can be linked to professional and personal requirements, which are regulated in the admission requirements of the individual event. If the conditions of participation are not available in the person registering, the registration can be rejected and - if possible - referred to alternative events. A cancellation can also be made if the number of people taking part is limited; here the order of the registrations is the criterion.
§ 3 Beginning and Duration
The start, duration and location of the individual events are specified in the respective announcement. We reserve the right to make changes based on current circumstances. In particular, a face-to-face event can be converted into an online event if the current legal situation does not permit face-to-face events.
§ 4 Terms of Payment
1. The participation fees for events are due 14 days after receipt of the invoice. Invoicing usually takes place as soon as the minimum number of participants has been reached.
2. In the case of long-term training, further education and training (>12 months), the exact payment terms are regulated in a written contract.
The following applies to 1. and 2. The participant undertakes to pay on time, even if the events are not attended or only partially attended.
§ 5 Withdrawal
1. In the case of longer-term training, further education and training (> 12 months), a contract is concluded between System Dynamics and the participant. In this case, the respective withdrawal and notice periods of the contract apply.
2. Withdrawal from all other events is possible at any time up to the start of the course. Up to six weeks before the start, a processing fee i. hv 40.00 euros to pay. If you cancel up to 3 weeks before the start, 50% of the participation fee must be paid, if you cancel later, 100% of the fees are due. A substitute participant can also be named, provided that he/she fulfills any admission requirements that may have to be observed.
We would like to point out that it is advisable to take out seminar cancellation insurance. This can be used if you are unable to attend the seminar at short notice due to illness or other reasons and cancellation free of charge is no longer possible. Providers for this are, for example, ERGO or HanseMerkur. You can find more information on the web.
§ 6 Right of Withdrawal
If the person registering is a consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB, the cancellation of the agreement is possible in accordance with §§ 355 et seq. BGB and reference is made to the following cancellation policy:

by means of a clear statement (e.g. letter or e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the declaration of your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired. SMS or messenger revocations are not recognized.
Consequences of revocation
If you revoke this contract, we must immediately repay all payments that we have received from you. In the event of revocation, you must return to us all services that you received from us up to the point of revocation. If the return of a service is impossible due to its nature, if seminars have already been attended, the costs for this are to be reimbursed by the contractor.

The right of withdrawal also expires if the 14-day period falls within the event period and the event was attended by the participant.
§ 7 Program change / cancellation due to system dynamics
We reserve the right to cancel events if the number of participants is too low (at the latest 2 weeks before the start) or if the speaker or event management fails, the event location is closed or force majeure occurs.
In any case, we endeavor to communicate cancellations or necessary changes, in particular a change of speaker or event manager, as early as possible.
We expressly reserve the right to make changes to the program as long as this preserves the overall character of the event. A change of speaker or event manager, insignificant changes in the course of the event or a reasonable relocation of the event location do not entitle the holder to a price reduction or to withdraw from the contract. If we have to cancel a seminar, we will refund the participation fee paid. Further claims are excluded, except in cases of intentional or grossly negligent behavior by employees or other vicarious agents of Systemdynamik.
§ 8 Personal data
Data transmitted to us are stored in our EDP. We use these exclusively to fulfill contractual obligations (Art. 6 Para. 1b GDPR, based on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1a GDPR) or based on legal requirements (Art. 6 Para. 1c GDPR).
Insofar as the e-mail address of the participating person is made available to Systemdynamik, use for advertising purposes can be objected to at any time by simply sending an e-mail to institut@systemdynamik.org with the subject "no advertising".
We process personal data in accordance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Further details can be found in our data protection notice at www.Systemdynamik.org.
§ 9 Copyrights
Working documents and presentations are protected by copyright and may not - not even in part - be reproduced or used commercially without the written consent of Systemdynamik and the respective speaker or author.
Insofar as content is made available in digital form (e.g. script documents in PDF format, video and audio recordings, photos) (e.g. by sending e-mails, streaming or downloading), the people taking part do not acquire ownership of it. You receive the non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the digital content for personal use only in accordance with copyright law in the manner offered. It is not permitted to copy the digital content for third parties, make it publicly available or forward it, post it on the Internet or other networks for a fee or free of charge, imitate it, print it out, resell it or use it for commercial purposes, or use the content in any way to change content or editorially or to use changed versions.
Section 10 Liability
1. In the event of accidents and damage to property, liability is within the scope of the statutory provisions.
2. In the event of theft or loss of items brought in, System dynamics accepts no liability whatsoever.
3. The organizer Systemdynamik is not liable (except in the case of intent and gross negligence) for the content of the event and the accompanying material.
